I am so ashamed of Asante. I worked there for about 5 years. I am an RN with 40+ years of experience. I really thought Asante was different and cared. By taking away employees freedom, they have shown their true colors, profits before human beings. They could have been a shining beacon of the freedoms we enjoy in this country but they chose the darknesss. They could have been a hero. Just remember this when you get care and there is no respect for YOUR choices and YOUR voice in your care. Shame on you Asante, you disappoint me. As for the Healthcare heroes who were fired? Those are the very people you WANT taking care of you.

For the most part, I have no problem with Asante overall. However, there does not appear to be a geriatric specialist in their entire roster. America is aging and so am I. I need a physician who doesn't think jogging 5miles a day will solve all my problems. They need to understand what it's like watching your friends and loved ones die around you until you're the only one left. They also need to understand the disintegration of the body and mental issues it effects. Asante has had fabulous doctors like Amy Brown and others but places such expectations on them, they burn out rapidly. Thus, I have had a high turnover in my doctor's . Fix that. Start listening to the needs of your physicians to keep them afloat. Asante can do better.
