Mountain View Landscaping

I contacted a few landscaping companies to get quotes for clearing out the litany of blackberry briars I had growing around the side and back of my suburban home, and Mountain View Landscaping was the only company that actually called me back. Dan (I'm guessing the owner of the company) came out to my house and looked everything over, told me what could be done, and went as far as to actually converse with me for a minute about life and kids and whatnot. I appreciate when a company is professional but I always appreciate it more when the people are personal too, so that was a big plus for me. I asked for a quote on how much it would run me, but not wanting to give me an inaccurate estimate, Dan said he would email me once he put everything together. A day or so later, he emailed me with a quote for the briar removal, the price seemed fair (although I wasn't entirely sure how much it should actually cost) and I decided to go for it. We scheduled the removal another few days later and he came out with another gentleman who did the all the physical work, and the briar removal was finally completed. He did a great job, and was very professional thorough. My only gripe, minor though it may be, was there wasn't a lot of communication for the day of the briar removal on when exactly he'd show up, who would show up, or how it would be done; so much as I was told it would be "early in the morning". It ended up being about 8 o'clock, which is totally fine, just would have liked to have had an ETA. I'm the kind of guy who asks a lot of questions and wants to know what's going on, more so out of curiosity than anything else, so this was just a minor gripe on my part. Really Dan was great at emailing me back promptly and the guy who did the removal was great too. Since the job was done, I haven't been contacted with a follow-up call or email or anything to ask about my satisfaction with the work done or the overall experience, which I guess isn't completely necessary, but is still a fairly common practice these days... Had I gotten a call, I would have nothing but positive things to say, so I won't really fault them for this. Just thought it was odd. Overall I'm glad I went with Mountain View, and should I have anything else that needs done around my house, or someone else asks about any sort of landscaping they need done, I'll be sure to recommend this company to them.
