Nice swimming hole for the entire family. The water was up from the last time I was here so there was less of a beach. The beach is mostly small and medium rock with a couple big ones here and there. They are all smooth from erosion. Still would recommend water shoes or sandals. The water is slow moving, and gradually gets to about waist deep after 60/70 feet. Then it drops off into a quick canal. The gate was open and there is some parking under the bridge. There is plenty of parking before the gate and a 300 foot walk down a hill to the water. If you are dating enough you can jump off the train trusses about 50/60 feet. All in all its a great spot that is free, and isnt packed like Amazon pool.
