It was a leap of faith to purchase these boots which I couldn't try on or see in person and the only thing I could rely on was online reviews. Six months later I'm still pleased. Truman's customer service is timely and helpful in their correspondence and website info. These are not in your face, over stylized like many known brands. Rather, what you'll find is subtle hints of craftsmanship, a reflection of quiet luxury that speaks for itself. I spent over 20 years in the military and I'm accustomed to wearing boots. I will say this about them, the feel, quality, and appearance is amazing and worth the price IMHO. Of course you can buy boots at half or even less, but will they last and perform from day one? One last take away. These don't look or feel like mass produced boots, they're different, in that it looks like a maker saw durable materials, picked them, and made the boot without regard to an accountant's eye to saving pennies on the dollar. There's a panache of un-refinement (in a good way) that makes these stand out from the crowd. Take a leap, I think you'll be pleased.

Real work boots at a reasonable price -If you are looking good looking, rugged boots, Truman makes them. The pair I just ordered arent the first, and probably wont be the last pair I get from Truman.

Awesome boots! Didnt contact them or anything, just ordered half size down from brannock and it fits perfect!!! The finish and quality are beyond its price, I have slightly thin feet and this fits just perfect, shrunken bison leather is the bestest, supple and thick, overall Im ecstatic!
