If there were an any way to score a 0 I would. Worst customer service EVER!! He creates his own schedule, which includes working after 10 pm. I hired him because he said he could do this job in a week. A week on one day later, he shows up and lays paper in one room; comes back 4 days later. It took him 3 weeks to paint one room in the house and it wasnt done well, paint was peeling and splotchy. Horrible job! Took him 3 days to strip and paint one door jamb. I said not to do the ceilings, he did them. I had to file a complaint to the Contractors Board to get a part of my money back. He threatened to sue me and threatened my wife. I would never, never, ever recommend this company for anything.

I prefer to write complementary reviews. There is JUST. NO. WAY. on this one! The fails were endless: Johns follow up was dismal. As we had interior work, we tried to be cooperative with his exterior work schedule. I had to repeatedly follow up and prompt our job to get onto his schedule as the rainy days came. I regret that to this day!! When he took our items for painting, he had us number the doors. Good idea, right? Then he painted over them! John took our doors and then relayed that he wanted to only paint the exterior of the doors. He changed the scope of work but he did not address a reduction in the cost. Our texts about a price reduction were maddening.. He had taken nearly a gallon of our expensive (Sherwin Williams Emerald) wood and trim paint with him to match the color but used it on our metal doors!! That was NEVER the agreement. That paint was our touch up paint and John and I had discussed that we did not want the doors shiny!! After having the doors for days, John said he had painted our metal doors but then they got wet that night so he had to redo them. Excuse me??? They got wet? FINALLY, John agreed to deliver the painted doors one evening but as the hours passed, we didnt hear anything from him. Finally he texted that he would deliver the doors and I responded that it was too late in the evening. John decided that after 10 pm was NOT too late and that he would leave the metal doors leaning against the garage door. Showers were possible that evening, I texted not to but he showed up anyway. Theres customer service for ya! UUGGHHH Heres the worst part. The doors were not completely dry and now have finger marks on them!!!! Well, at least only the front of doors are marked up, since John decided not to paint the insides!! Baffling. Sad. But it was all BAFFLING.

Id like to not give any stars or recommend John. He gave us a bid on July 3, 2023. We gave him a $1,000 deposit on July 9th and set our date to paint almost the entire interior of our house. He pushed or changed our date 3 different times. The 4th date he was a no show. We have been trying to get our money back, its now November 16, 2023. Over 4 months with him basically stealing our money. We have all this in writing and in texts. So be careful.
