        When I went through the master recyclers program in 2015, the grand puba of St. Vinnies around here was one of the guest speakers. He's certainly an interesting character. He explained how St. Vinnies pays middle class wages to its employees and is an innovator in recycling, especially mattress recycling. They pull many tons of material out of the Lane County public waste system and feed the homeless. He's good at playing the rock star and assuredly has a good pitch.
