        Every time I come to eugene, I am forced to chase down a free meal, and the various shelters and homeless services are not only unhappy to help, but only willing to give the homeless the most meager of pittance. Then I walk into acorn community Cafe, and I am greeted with a warm smile and a warm, nourishing meal that is not only good, it's outstanding. I would pay for this food. But if I have no money, I never have to. God bless these people.

        I am so glad we stopped here! I ordered the biscuits and gravy, a banana nut muffin and two chocolate chip cookies- all for under $20. SO GOOD. I wanted to order everything in there! Staff super kind, love the art that is up, bathroom stocked with any extras a woman might need. Its easy to miss but not easily forgotten!
