NTX (NeuropsychiatryTX)

I love the team I've been assigned - my psychiatrist, Michelle Baxter, and my therapist Marlando Lewis. I've had a lot of bad experiences with therapists and especially psychiatrists so these professionals are a breath of fresh air. They're both super helpful, great listeners, with a solid sense of humor. I never feel judged or pressured into anything I don't want to do. I feel seen, safe, and acknowledged with them. I'm very happy with the experience I've had so far with NTX.

Services with NTX have been excellent. They are empathetic and trauma informed and actually let the client feel like they are heard. I definitely recommend their services.

Waited over a year for my insurance to cover the mental health evaluation and diagnosis. Once I found out that they now take my insurance (kept calling around all year trying to find anyone) I scheduled right away. Wait time for the appt wasnt bad so that was nice too. These things are why a rated 2 stars. First appt on telehealth, after completing tons of online assessments, the appt was over within 20 minutes. All questions during this first appt were answered in the online assessments Id already submitted. It appeared that the doctors first time looking over these assessments was during this 20 minute call. Then i was to scheduled for a follow up in 1 week, to go over the next assessment I was to do before that appt. The day before that appt, and while I was working on the required assessment, I got a call from NTX, letting me know that my appt the next day would be canceled if I did not have it submitted. I informed her that I was in process when she called, and that I understood. Fast forward to my virtual appt the next day. I log in early and begin waiting. I waited in the virtual patient room for 25 minutes, from the time my appt was to start. No call, no show. I called the office and told them that the doctor had still not connected for my appt and asked what was happening. After a short hold, I was told Id need to reschedule. Im told then, that there is an appt at 1220 that day so I accepted it and asked if the doctor would be there this time. Yes. Within minutes I was called back and told that I couldnt have that appt because it wasnt enough time. It needed to be a longer appt she saysthen the availability back and forth startedwe have thisI have that and so on. I became so frustrated and upset that I didnt know what to say; other than Im not ready to schedule and end the call. I had waited SO long to get in with someoneanyone to get help, and literally hanging on by a thread then they call with the threat of cancellation if forms arent in (they were), then being stood up for an appt that was literally the light at the end of the tunnel and I was given no explanation. Now, I have no faith or trust with this doctor. Extremely disappointed.

Marlando Lewis has been a great therapist and I find everything we talk about to be very helpful and interesting. Never makes me feel judged
