Gage was very efficient at mowing long, wet spring grass! He also edged and used blower to not only clean off hard surfaces, but also blew off debris in the yard from winter fallout!

We have several acres in the Thurston Hills which were an impenetrable mess after the January ice storm. Cameron and his crew did a fantastic job of clearing a hillside from fallen trees and debris. They arrived promptly and worked hard all day. We really felt that we got good value from their work. In addition, they were easy to schedule and very nice to work with. We would definitely use them again.

Orig. post in '22: Not sure how long they've been doing their work, but they seemed experienced, which makes this even more frustrating. A couple months ago, we asked them to level our very uneven lawn and remove the blackberries we'd inherited when we bought our house. When we first purchased, the berries were taking up more than half our lawn, which is a LOT. We didn't even know how big the yard really was until we paid someone to come and clear them last year. Well, they came back, and we couldn't keep up with them. We reached out to PNW and specifically told them when they came by to put together an estimate that we wanted the lawn leveled and the blackberries GONE. They agreed and sent a quote. It was by far the lowest of what we received when we compared with other companies, so we went ahead with PNW. Turns out the initial quote didn't include any of the materials for putting in a border, which we also mentioned when they came to estimate. So the price went up. No big deal, we thought, it's worth it. The day finally came for them to get started and they seemed confident they could get it all done in a day. I was skeptical, but optimistic. The weather had other plans, so they got rained out. Again, no big deal. It didn't get done in a day; it took four full work days for them to tear up the lawn, level it, put new soil and border materials in, and reseed. Whatever. We weren't short on time, and it was early in the year. We were excited to finally get something done with the ankle hazard that was our yard. Well, we followed their instructions ("Water a lot, reseed the patches after a few weeks") and within a month we were starting to see some really great patches of grass come up. Unfortunately, they weren't on the whole yard, but they were peeking through the mulch and gravel borders. Apparently they hadn't thought it was necessary to put down a membrane under any of it, which is ridiculous because (a) Cameron said it would be included to keep the blackberries from coming back so forcefully, and (b) even I know that there needs to be something to keep things from growing in your gravel. Okay, not the end of the world, I guess? Well, we also didn't expect to have to deal with a weed infestation that we'd legitimately never seen before, new plants that had never been in our yard before. Was it the soil used? Was it the seed? Sure, we knew we'd have weeds to deal with, because what lawn doesn't? But these are nasty. They grow about two feet tall in as many days and they're definitely strangling out any new grass, growing so wide at the base that they block all the sun. Ugh, fine. Weeds are just an acceptable problem. Welcome to homeownership, right? Here's the REAL issue (on top of everything else): the blackberry problem was not solved. Along with those new weeds we started to see blackberries coming up in areas they hadn't been before, so finally it got to the point where we decided to give them a call and follow up. I spoke with the woman (I'm sorry, I don't remember her name) and got a couple of irritating responses: firstly, that we were meant to "stay on top of the weeds", which was to be expected; when I reiterated that the blackberries were the main concern, she actually told me, "well, we don't dig them up." I'm sorry, HOW DOES A LANDSCAPING COMPANY REMOVE BLACKBERRIES WITHOUT DIGGING THEM UP??? I told her we needed them to come back and fix it and she asked for pictures, to which her only response was "Oh wow. Okay." Within a couple hours, Cameron was back over with the team (walking straight into the yard and knocking on the back door, mind you - again, not the end of the world). He told us, "Normally, we would charge for this, but we want to make sure you're happy," like it was some kind of gift that he'd bothered to fix his mistakes, and "You were supposed to spot-weed the blackberries and weeds." Again, why would they expect us to be pulling blackberries if THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO REMOVE THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE? We paid them close to $10k and will NOT be calling them again. Do not recommend.
