I live in the Brookstone apartments. RR REFUSES to adequately chain the garbage cage in the 7th St Alley. Their chains and locks are so flimsy you could break them with a scissors. They are broken into and garbage strewn everywhere on a regular basis. Trying to talk to the maintenance man is useless. He told me I could provide a better lock and chain if that's what I wanted. He was defensive and hostile. Just now the garbage truck driver emptied the giant trash can into their truck but didn't wait for all the trash to empty. Trash fell down the front of their truck and into the alley. Instead if cleaning up their mess, they used a broom to sweep it onto the commercial property across from the apartments. They also left broken furniture in top of the recycle bin instead of loading it into the garbage truck. When I confronted them about sweeping their mess into the commercial property, they became defensive and hostile. I've spoken with a younger driver about the inadequate chains, and he said his notes about it are ignored. To quote him, "Royal Refuse sucks." I concur. Take your business to Sanipac.

you think all eugene trash companies are the same , but I found out they are not . I live on chambers and the street has been torn up for over a month . they worked with me to make sure my trash was picked up when there was a big hole and piles of gravel in front of my house . my neighbor who uses another company just did not pick up their trash . yes one day I had to move my cans across the street but at least they picked it up
