Dance With US!

Great instruction. I have taken both private and group lessons from Laura for years. She is very skilled at adapting to individual needs and extremely positive and supportive. She is the perfect person if you are a beginner or skilled dancer.

We had a great time during our dance lessons with Laura. We participated in a few group classes and later signed up for a few private lessons to prepare a first dance for our wedding. We felt that she really allowed our personality to shine through in our dance, and we had a lot of fun in our lessons and during our first dance. Aside from her extensive experience and enthusiasm for dance, Laura is an incredibly kind and sincere person who was a pleasure to spend time with.

Laura is an excellent teacher. My fianc and I took lessons with her because we didn't want to simply wobble around during our first dance on our wedding day. We both had little to no dance experience, but after the first lesson we were given the basic form of slow dancing and some simple moves to practice. We took 5 lessons in total and Laura personalized everything to match our skill level as we continued to learn. She is truly excellent at seeing what you are capable of and challenging you to grow. We completed our lessons prepared to dance on our wedding day and with the knowledge of how to slow dance in general. The only sad thing, is that our lessons came to an end. But, if we ever have the desire to learn more dances or freshen up our skills we will surely be back!

We went to Laura for dance lessons for our wedding. We had zero dance experience and a lot of nervousness about our family watching that awkward, long first dance. In all we did 7 private lessons: 4 for our "first dance", 1 for a mother/son dance, 1 for a father/daughter dance, and 1 for our children to do a fun happy play dance. She took our songs and made each one so different and individual and choreographed each one based on how we did in the lessons and continued to teach new skills as we practiced on our own. She does really well at taking time with each person and just building confidence and makes it so smooth. When our special day came it went absolutely beautifully! Her studio area in her house is beautiful and clean and she was so bright and cheerful. We'd love to continue to work with her just for fun now. Thank you so much Laura!

Our favorite part of planning for the wedding was taking these lessons, Laura was an amazing teacher for a couple that walked in with two left feet each and left feeling so comfortable out on the dance floor. 10 out 10 would recommend.
