Grace Baptist Church

These folks ignored no trespassing and no soliciting signs and left propaganda all over our neighborhood. We'll clean it up for them. Spotting them a star in case they make amends with a few clean up parties and more respect for their neighbors in the future. One can hope.

I found this church when I lived in Eugene and since moving to Portland haven't been able to find another church that comes close to  preaching the gospel vs an hour of begging for money.  The preacher is amazing in his knowledge of the scripture and has written several books, all  are available on line for free!  Also post all his messages for free! Web site is twosonsofgod.org. Since I'm not able to drive to Eugene every weekend the messages on the website have been a real blessing. The preacher is unpretentious, witty and doesn't come off as holier than thou!  No fire and brimstone here!  The general theme is that your saved by grace period. salvation is a gift from god that you can't lose, earn or purchase.  The congregation is friendly and laid back no phonies in the bunch. In a house vs. a big church very comfortable and clean!
