Secretary = very polite, kind, and courteous. Lawyer = patronizing, arrogant, not helpful. Questioned me as if I was beneath him. I asked a very simple question and could not give me an answer. He seemed more concerned with touting his mental prowess and attempting to belittle me. What a total dick. There are plenty of other, more capable and helpful firms in Eugene. Why would a lawyer that charges hundreds of dollars an hour speak to someone this way. Beyond me. Jeez get it together.

Rude. Rude. Rude. I was appauled and shocked at the cold reception I received when I called to ask if they could assist with my particular issue The answer I got was a curt "No, we don't do that." No explanation, no apology or referral. When I said "Ok, thank you" they just hung up the phone abruptly.

My father-in-law needed to have some legal work done as things had changed with his estate. On the recommendation of Warren Barnes of Kernut-Stokes Accountants, we made an appointment with Berit Everhard of Arnold Gallagher. We could not have been more pleased. Although he is 96 years old and has some hearing problems, Berit was clear and direct in her communication with him. Although we were in the room, she always listened to him and didn't turn to us for clarifications. She was never patronizing nor did she ever seem frustrated or bothered by his anecdotes or comments that might have seemed irrelevant. She always delivered what she said she would at the time she promised.
