    Unapologetic when they make billing errors. I paid my bill up-front on-time in-full for the entire year, but then after they cashed my check, I got a letter saying my service would be canceled for non-payment. After I told the new customer service person I paid in full for the entire year, in fact, I then got slapped with a late-payment fee. I was then sent, simultaneously, two very different bills, with neither of these bills reflecting my actual credit balance. When I called to set up a time to sit down and go over all these issues, new customer service person didn't even bother to confirm she'd have time to talk with me; she just blew me off. Manager said bills are automated, and automation missed my payment, but he seemed irritated, ready to hang up instead of go through and clarify each of these issues with me, like I was taking up his time, not that they were taking up mine and that they had caused me undue stress and frustration. Manager did not apologize. He even suggested I didn't trust them, implying several times that I thought they were out to cheat me, which is just bizarre. (Manger chooses to question a customer's psychology, rather than take full responsibility for errors? Wow). It is not a matter of trust; it is a matter of billing me competently and correctly. Manager insisted they did everything right, which is clearly not the case. Who gets two different bills from the same utility at the same time with no actual balance noted? Manager also said late fee was subtracted from the last bill, which I realized after hanging up is wrong: late fee was added to the last bill. Normal "Sorry this happened" normal Our error, sorry for stressing you, you paid your bill in full, we sincerely apologize for this statements were not forthcoming from the manager. The issues with the bill was 100% on their end, not mine. I won't know if issues have been fully resolved until I get the next bill. This was an unpleasant experience I didn't need to have. And now I don't know if my credit is docked for erroneous late payment.
