Four Winds Motel

Very clean room, comfortable and the friendly front desk was helpful, friendly and courteous. Excellent location, can hear the waves. It was cozy.

My Wife &I stayed here from the 11th through the 13th. The first 2 nights were good. However, the 3rd night, the power went out at like 4 pm & remained out the rest of the night. Although we realized power outages are beyond their control , they never once checked on their guests after the power went off. It was extremely cold &it would have meant a lot to have been offered extra blankets to keep warm.

Horribly disappointed in the room. Everything was so outdated and didn't seem clean. Safe to say we will never stay there again.

I was arriving late into the area. Frantically looking for a place to stay and pulled into this hotel around nine. I entered the front door and waited a little bit to see if anyone was coming to the desk- when that didn't happen I rang the bell and waited another 5 minutes. I could hear voices and talking and the TV in the other room. But no one came to the front desk. I waited, maybe another 10 minutes rang the bell a couple more times while still standing patiently in the lobby and no one ever showed up so I left. I guess it is what it is when you're on the Oregon coast. And maybe the people who maintain the hotel also lived there or were busy with other things. But it was just very strange to me that I was just standing in the lobby and could have loaded my arms and pockets with whatever was in there and walked right out. And no one would have known any difference. So take that for what you will.
