SCP Depoe Bay

Was just searching for a beach getaway for the weekend and found this place, and so glad we did! Clean rooms with minimalist design, friendly staff, a beautiful common area with easily enough space for most guests to all hang out at the same time. Extremely dog friendly - a large water bowl, mat, dog towels right next to the front door, a huge help with the rainy weather while we were here. Check in and out was seamless - and happy to report that we didn't find any hidden fees or bs extra charges that big hotels like to throw on your bill at the end.

We spent 9 nights here. Christie was amazing and the customer service was impeccable! We stayed in 2 different rooms and both were awesome. The breakfast was fruit and granola. I have a tree nut allergy, so we ended up eating out but others seemed to really enjoy it. Christie helped us with keeping fish from a fishing trip, containers to pick blackberries with and beach/hike locations. We had our dog with us and the grounds are perfect for dogs. The location was quiet and it was such a treat to watch the boats and the coast guard go in and out.

Our room was easy to book, there is plenty of parking, the amenities were great, the view was great, overall a very nice stay. The one odd thing was the fitment of the rooms doors that also didn't have weather stripping so there were very large gaps leaving to the hallway. We were traveling to a half marathon run down the coast and needed a place to sleep for the night. They allowed very late check in and very early checkout, basically self check in/out. We would stay here again.

Very clean and very modern hotel with lots of amenities. We especially like the free laundry. The hosts were very friendly. This a very down to earth but modern stay at a reasonable price for the area. Would definitely love to come back. Rooms : 5/5 | Service : 5/5 | Location : 5/5 More
