We opted this year to invest in our buckelist raft and frame. The choice for a frame builder was simple after seeing Recretec frames for years on the river. They last, they look great, and the people are great to work and communicate with. Working with the crew and Tim, I feel confident that not only does the frame look absolutely badass, it also seems to be of every bit quality like I had read and heard. There are a few frame options out there, and I looked at them all to do the "due dilligance" we are raised to do. Recretec in all aspects came out far ahead and was the clear choice. The ability to buy our dream frame and raft through one person made incredible sense and the ease paid off!

I've owned a Recretec frame for nearly ten years which still looks new. I recently used Recretec to help me rebuild the roof rack on my truck - excellent work, top quality powder coating, excellent craftsmanship and fair pricing.

Fantastic rafting frame and drybox set up. They were great to work with and communicated well. If you like to whitewater raft, there is no better frame and you can get the whole raft package (boat, cooler, oars etc) through Recretec.

Ok, So I have an older (like 20 years) recretec frame that has had a long life being put thru who knows what in it's past life. Anyhow, I had a recent February Grand Canyon trip and my oar tower mount cracked along the weld. Camstrap temporary fix made it down the river The plate was bent under the tower, evidence of a hard hit somewhere along it's life. Anyhow, sent Tim an email asking how he would recommend fixing it to buy a few more years. He told me to bring it in and they would fix it up for me under warranty. So, a few days later Tim texts me and says "bring it in on Sunday if you can and I'll get it fixed." Long story short, I bring in the frame and we make the decision to retrofit the frame and dryboxes to better fit a new boat. He relocates and replaces the handles on the drybox, inspects and reinforces welds, mounts the new style oar lock brackets, patches dryboxes, and basically updates my old frame to a "new" frame. He spent most of his Sunday working on my project and I appreciate the heck out of that. Deciding to add the new (better) parts added up to $500 just for materials, so not cheap, but incredible value for the quality of the products and Tim's commitment to backing his products. I will be recommening him to all who are searching for a new frame or a reputable raft dealer.
