Murphy's on the River

Service was excellent. Our server thought of everything to make our meal wonderful. We are from out of town and will gladly be back. Dinner was delicious. Burgers, fish and chicken, everyone loved their meal. The atmosphere was great. And the restaurant was full with a line of people waiting to be sat.

Had excellent rock fish, masters, asparagus in burre blanc sauce. Cooked perfectly, served hot. Great, attentive service. Excellent slice of coconut cream pie finished off this notable meal!

I had come in with a group of folks and we had a reservation for a 2 hour time slot. We were shoved into the corner of the restaurant, and our waitress was extremely rude to us. She had demanded that all of us order at once because we were 'slamming the kitchen' and they couldn't keep up. No one ordered mains, only appetizers off of the happy hour menu, and we ordered within the first half hour. There was also no clear communication that the menu was online only. No QR code at the table and the waitress rudely snapped that they don't have paper menus so we need to Google it for ourselves. When we were ready to leave, she didn't take the time to process checks at once, she came back to the table 3 times and ignored several of us that needed to leave. Fries were OK. Gyoza tasted like it was from Trader Joe's and frozen. Margarita was watered down. Would not recommend. There are much better places in Corvallis to spend your hard earned money and be treated with respect.
