Magenta Restaurant

I used to absolutely love Magenta. I would eat here on every special occasion (since the food was too expensive otherwise) I could find. Birthdays, anniversaries, etc. However their food has significantly decreased in quality while their prices continue to get higher and higher. Not only that, but they keep removing all of the menu items that made Magenta unique in the first place. From everything Ive seen and heard, it sounds like the majority of these awful menu decisions are due to greedy ownership and mismanagement. It really hurts to see, because the wait staff are still as amazing as theyve always been and the service Ive gotten from one lady in particular (unfortunately I cannot remember her name off the top of my head..) has been wonderful! I swear she has been our waitress since I was in elementary school visiting with my mom and sister for a try something new night. My boyfriend and I have also gone to Magenta for every anniversary since we were in middle school (we are now in college, going on 6 years), but the prices and declining taste have finally become enough for us to find a new tradition. Thank you again to that wonderful waitress for being such an awesome part of our traditions before!

fun place, love the tapas-like menu. definitely loved the Korean BBQ pork and escargot crostini.
