Had a conversation over the phone regarding work that needed to be done at my rental. The owner e-mailed me some dates to have the work completed. I responded back that I was unavailable for those dates because I needed to travel from Portland and gave him future times to see if that worked with his schedule.
Going forward no response, I emailed him again, no response and then left a voicemail. Again, no response so I contacted a different company to complete the work. It's unfortunate since he has great reviews, which is why I contacted him in the first place. Like others have said, if you don't want to do the job just say that upfront, it will save everyone a lot of time.
