Good stay. Comfortable beds and fluffy pillows. Staff was friendly. But, I must warn you, if you stay for a few days, the breakfast is the same every day. We were here for 2 weeks visiting my daughter. I guess being where they are located, getting different breakfast items is difficult.

Do you like constant road noise, small rooms, terrible parking, and hard beds? How about showerheads that barely drip the water on your head? Then do I have a place for you! Best Western in Coos Bay excels at all these areas! If for some reason the road noise dies down a little, you can listen to the calming sounds of people getting in and out of their cars in the parking lot and their car lock beeping! Enjoy being cold? Well your A/C unit can cycle on and off repeatedly within minutes all night and still be overly warm even though it's set on 60 degrees To be fair, the room was mostly clean, and the breakfast was good and seemed plentiful and hot. However, NO way it was worth the money they are charging. Sorry, babe, that's Holiday Inn money, and you're rolling slightly better than the Red Lion.

This location was found for us by a travel agent with global travel. I have mixed feelings about it. We were told we would have a separate bedroom from the kids but we were all in one open room. We were told that it was a heated pool but it was very much so a cold pool. We were told it was closer to the ocean. We did have a view of the bay, it was walking distance to check out the bay and the Fisherman's Market but definitely no beach access nearby. We drove a half hour south to play at Bandon. Our room was so loud with traffic that my 2 year old and I did not sleep well because when the big rigs come rolling in and downshift it nearly rattles the walls. All of that being said we did still enjoy ourselves. They offer the same breakfast each morning but there is a good selection. I clean houses so I like things very clean and I wasn't grossed out like I have been at other Best Westerns but you can tell it is an older hotel and certain things don't get cleaned. (Baseboards, windowsills, hood vent etc) It was wonderful being able to save money and cook in our room. The basic necessities of the kitchen were provided but not quite as much as expected. We had to buy a pizza pan which we found at the dollar store. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating and Coos Bay is a cool little town that we wouldn't have experienced if our travel agent hadn't ignored most of our top wishes. And although we felt safe and had no personal issues a gentleman staying at the same time as us did have his pick-up stolen out of the parking lot overnight.
