Her assistant makes the rules. She's rude, pushy and operates on her own meducal opinions. Never been treated so badly by any professional office.

Ended up canceling my appointment. I certainly didnt expect to be treated this way by a female dentist office but here we are. Apparently as a woman I dont have bodily autonomy even at the dentist office! Why exactly do I need your permission to pull my tooth?! At 50 years old I think Im capable of determining the level of pain in my tooth and whether or not it needs to come out. I certainly didnt expect such behavior from a west coast female dentist office. Edit: then you should have a talk with your office lady. The way she explained it I would have to make multiple visits. Thats a problem. I can remember when you would go in a dentist office and get a tooth pulled the same day! No extra expenses and no extra visits. I miss the days where you called someone who provided a service, you go in and get said service and pay for the service. Now you have people telling other people what they can and cant do with their own bodies and forcing them to pay for extra trips that are unnecessary! Ridiculous! Last time I checked the only legal part is you having a license! If Im paying for it, no insurance but me actually paying for it, who do you have to justify it to?! That doesnt give you the right to tell other people what they can and cant do with their own bodies. I need a tooth pulled, you supposedly pull teeth why is it so hard for you to do your job?! A person calls they tell you their tooth has been hurting for a very long time. If theres no reason why it cant be pulled, which theres not, you pull it! Same visit! Stop trying to nickel and dime people to death with multiple visits! And stop thinking you know other peoples bodies better than they do! You cant see pain so why do you think you get to decide that that tooth stays in my mouth?! The pure arrogance! You people have a serious God complex! Edit: you know that Im in pain because Ive told you multiple times that I was in pain. I didnt mistreat your staff the way youre implying I did. It was quit the opposite actually. But Im not surprised youd use DARVO in your response. The gaslighting youre doing makes my head spin!

I saw Dr Michaela Walker for a chipped filling repair. She got me in the chair within a day and was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything very well. She repaired the filling and addressed the likely cause the same day. The staff were also very pleasant and helpful. It was by far the best dental experience I have had and I most strongly recommend Dr Walker and her staff for your dental needs!

My wife and I recently started seeing Michaela and her team, and we are beyond impressed. After 6 years of military dental clinics, the family culture and friendly atmoshpere is a breath of fresh air. I highly recommend Michaela Walker's Family Dentristry for anyone looking for quality, proffessional care. My family definitely won't be going anywhere else!

Hi, Kim. I am sorry you feel this way. Unfortunately, legally, I am unable to provide treatment until I have diagnosed it. Diagnosis typically involves an exam and x-ray to scientifically support what needs to be done. There is a good chance I could/would pull your tooth, but since I have never met you, or seen your tooth, there is no way to know. Best of luck in your search for dental care here on the West Coast!EDIT: Kim, I can tell you are in pain from your responses and the way you treated my staff. We are not telling you what to do with your body, only what we can accommodate with our schedule. As one of the only dentists in the area that takes various insurances, this time of year our schedule is packed solid for 2-3 weeks. What my staff was trying to do, since you are in pain, was get you in for the first step, diagnosis, so that if we have an opening in our schedule due to another patient cancelling, we could have you come in for the extraction. What I would recommend for you to do would be to find another dental office who has more than one dental provider and, perhaps, a schedule more suited to your needs.
