Until seeing Tonja in action, it's hard to understand everything that goes into designing and making a pond. From her early planning on through her completion of the project, I came to know Tonja as a practical, no-nonsense contractor with the spirit of an artist. When she started, she asked "What feeling do you want to have when you're by your pond?" By combining the sensibilities of a sculptor and an engineer, she was able to pull off her ambitious creation, delivering much more than she had promised, all the while staying within budget. When I sit by our pond in the mornings, taking in the calming sounds of the waterfalls, I am grateful for her.

Recently while listening to a discussion about whether it is better to spend money on material possessions or experiences, it occurred to me that I got both when Andrea designed, and her crew built, the beautiful pond that I enjoy daily when I walk out of my back door.

I highly recommend Andreatta Waterscapes for anyone who wants to transform their yard into a calm and stunning oasis. We knew we wanted a water feature in our front yard, we just couldn't quite picture the specifics of it. Once we contacted Tanja, she came to our home and viewed the area with us for over an hour, discussing options that would work with the vision in our minds. From there she showed up with her crew and, in days, created a stunning and size appropriate pondless waterfall that far exceeded our expectations. She also build and planted a retaining wall in front of our deck with boulders to match the waterfall, beautifully pulling together two areas that otherwise would have appeared unrelated and disjointed. I still can't believe how she turned a lifeless patch of dirt and tired old plants into a gorgeously landscaped waterfall that everyone who comes to visit just loves. She kept the lines of communication open at all times and adapted to our evolving wishes. I can't say enough about this talented, thoughtful woman and her crew. --Jan Stover
