Herman Creek Falls

3/8/24 The falls (proper name Nick Eaton Falls) were flowing quite nicely. Totaling around 90 ft tall and be careful around the creek crossing, you may get your feet wet. There's a smaller (not by much, it's around 80 ft) lower flow waterfall just before it, don't be tricked like I was by thinking that was this waterfall, just continue a little farther, where this larger and more impressive waterfall resides.

Lovely hike. Lovely waterfall. Very isolated. You enter 'Wilderness', so bears, other wildlife, and proper permitting are a real thing.

This is one wild and beautiful and fun park, hiking is good but can b dangerous, views are awesome .

Great hike. Don't bother to try and take the trail up to Nick Eaton ridge. An old timer told me it was awful even before the eagle creek fire. Pretty much disappears within 100m of the sign marked turn and only gets worse.
