Dont advertise yourself if you dont actually provide a service. People in need reach out and you are a ghost.

Unfortunately this was the first veterinarian who came up on my google search under in home vet care for Bend Oregon. I read a little bit of the website and decided to send an email because I had a few questions. In the email I stated that I had just discovered that my cat has cancer, a sarcoma which is a type of cancer that has a tendency to grow rapidly. I continued to say that my cats primary vet is Dr. Douglas from Central Oregon Animal Hospital (love him! I highly recommend him) and that he had recommended that I get blood work done for my cat to see if the cancer had spread to any other parts of her body sense the cancer that we knew of then was just in the tumor. I wanted to look into in home blood work to reduce the stress for my cat with the car ride and vet visit sense stress isn't good for humans or animals especially when they are ill. I never got an email back so about a week later I decided to call and leave a message, he returned my call that night. He said that he had gotten my email and that in my email I had asked about financial programs (just incase it was pricey) and that he didn't do those kinds of things so he wasn't "interested in calling me back". So I said well I can pay in full I was just curious. So I continued to ask about how he would preform the blood draw and where they take the blood from or if it was in the arm (anti-cuboital vein) like it is for humans. He had no idea what I was talking about and he said well if you want to tell me where to draw or if you have a preference then you can show me and I said oh no I was just curious then at that point I was irritated and upset with his overall tone and manner so I politely said well thank you I'll call back in a few days to make an appointment (even though I had no intention) he says to me "yeah you do that" and hung up on me! At this point I was absolutely bewildered at his lack of compassion, and lack of understanding of where I was coming from. I had chosen to right the email so I could give him the whole story about my sick animal. His tone was condescending and it seemed like I was bothering him more than anything. He seemed uneducated in the fact that when I used words like anti-cuboital he had no idea what I was talking about. Having a sick animal is horrible ultimately it is our jobs as humans to decide their fate when they get sick. I have had my cat for 10 years and this news was to say the least devastating. I will never recommend him to anyone else and I hope that for the sake of the veterinarian community he discontinues his practice because personally I do not want people like that in any kind of medical field or treating any other animals. So now I will continue to look and I hope this review has made people not want to use him.
