Dr. Matt Wesley DVM was our first point of contact at Bend Animal Hospital when we got our first dog in 2016. They had come highly recommended by our breeder. Dr Matt walked in, sat down on the floor ready to pet our dog and looked up with a smile asking, what are your questions. It was our first dog. We knew nothing. He was willing to sit and talk about dogs for as long as we liked until we felt completely comfortable with everything. No pressure. We kept trying to cut the appointment short out of respect for his time as a professional. Surely he must be busy. We were dismissed on cutting the appointment short. And granted as much time as it took to answer every one of our questions fully and completely. During our first meeting, our time with him was purely that. A wonderful conversation about dogs. His knowledge, compassion and love for animals is beyond reproach. He has become our go to for all questions animal related. In the eight years we have worked with him, our respect for his professionalism has never wavered. Our dog has experienced significant medical maladies. All of which are handled with the same respect, care and attention to detail noted on our first visit. We would follow him anywhere with any animal. Not to ignore the remaining staff of bend animal hospital. All the vet techs and doctors have proven exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly as well. They truly are a talented team. Overall. Excellent experience. Our breeder was correct. They are all fantastic.

I found this clinic, during the last year or so of my dogs life. We had a very dangerous misdiagnosis from another local vet. Trusting my gut, I reached out to Dr. Lynn Brown. She immediately had my back, confirmed the misdiagnosis, and was with us every step of the way. The staff was fully engaged & diligent & kind. They all handled my dogs vet anxiety gently. If/when I have another pup, I could not imagine going anywhere else for pup care.
