Embark Behavioral Health

Had a very positive experience at Embark Bend with my adolescent. From the day I dropped them off, I felt good about my choice here. The staff were wonderful. The structure was great. After staying 90 days, I can see a real positive difference in how things will look as we move forward. Highly recommend.

My daughter just returned home after 70 days at Embark in Bend, Oregon, and I would highly recommend this treatment center to any family. Unfortunately, my daughter made minimal progress, but this is due to her own resistance, as well as a complicated and unaligned family dynamic. The program, and the caring staff, were helpful and supportive from Day 1. I was in contact with them frequently because my daughter is not speaking to me, and they were communicative, and so understanding. From Mimi during the enrollment process, to the two therapists, first Caroline, then Audrey, to the Special Education Director, Maryann, and residential staff like Brianne, I was always able to get updates, talk through my worries, and discuss strategies and solutions. When meetings were necessary, both before and during my daughters time to there, Stephanie and Deveney were so professional and very helpful. I wish my daughter could have stayed and continued making progress, but as I mentioned, the situation and family dynamics are very difficult. It is the hardest thing Ive ever experienced, to have one of my children out of state and away for so long, but please know, Embark can be trusted to care for your child and connect with your family, in an effort to bring healing. I am so grateful for them.

This facility was a real saving grace for us. They worked with our daughter closely and she really got a handle on her anxiety and using newly learned coping skills. The online school and her teacher Mary Ann kept really helped her in ELA and I could not be more grateful. The journey isnt over but the parent group after discharge helps me out!!

As a parent with total reservation about residential treatment on the other side of the country, I cannot say enough good things about this program. We trusted the team at Embark with our child and they supported us before, during and after. Everyone at Embark was kind, accessible, responsive and caring. Our daughter bonded with the clinical staff and residential staff. She was well cared for, challenged and supported. As a family, we were cared for too. We were able to visit multiple times and participate in the treatment. We all grew from this experience. I would not hesitate for one minute to send my child to Devaney and her amazing team. They have changed all of our lives. I am forever grateful for the experience we had with Embark Behavioral Health in Bend, OR. It was life changing. They truly understand how to approach children and families in crisis and help to create a path forward with hope, structure and love. I never thought we would need their services, but I am so thankful we found them.

I strongly recommend this place to anyone who is having a child struggling with mental health. It is a transformative experience and has been nothing short of a miracle. The staff is very responsive and caring.
