I have known Christie personally for years and after experiencing a very serious injury causing nerve, bone and muscle damage, I knew that her help would be an intergal part of my healing journey. As i write this review, Im still healing and I know that Christies help over the past 4 months has created results, both mentally and physically. Let me explain... You will know that you are going to have a better-than-expected experience the moment you enter her space. Christie knows and leverages details in her practice that other practitioners are completely unaware of. This is the difference that makes her technique so special makes me feel so much better. Other than mastery of the fundamentals, Christie draws from extensive experience in helping others heal. Meaning, that as time passed after my injury - especially with nerve damage - it was often hard to identify if i was actually better or was beginning to worsen. This is where Christie provided great comfort by applying her experience and comparing where I was with her weeks before. Think on this, Christie was/is spending an hour with me each week, sometimes more. This is the strongest relationship of any wellness provider on this journey and through this relationship I have been able to understand and meet the many challenges of moving on from such an injury.

Christies attention to my needs, her technique, the setting and environment of her officeall of these things combined make Balance Therapeutic Bodywork my go to for massage. As a new mother I felt well taken care of, and I think of massage from Christie as an important part of my postpartum care.

To say I am obsessed with Christie would be an understatement! I have been working with her for about 5 years, originally for a car accident and now for management of my chronic illnesses. She is the most grounding, caring and knowledgeable therapist I have seen in my over 10+ years of being bounced around between therapists of all kinds.
