Katie's coaching was instrumental in helping me to be a more effective leader and the impact of this has transformed not only how I lead in business, but how I show up as a family member, friend, neighbour and meaningful member of society overall. I often reflect on the conversations we have had and weeks later find more and more gold in the nuggets laid out before me and the gentle nudges given. We all need a little help. I will always have a coach in my life. Katie and I have been connecting on leadership and coaching for 4 years now. Katie Post is an amazing Coach! She is a wonderful listener and has the ability to really help an individual and/or a team collectively grow together. She has great team building exercises that help individuals and teams to dive into their own personal strengths, which allows a team to grow stronger so we all reach our goals and can share in the successes together! My one on one time with Katie has been invaluable for my professional growth! When I approached her about coaching the entire team it was the best decision I could have ever made. My experience with Katie was life changing. Before, I struggled with self-confidence and self belief. Katie helped me to believe in my natural abilities and adopt a growth mindset. In the year and a half Ive worked with Katie, Ive grown leaps and bounds as a person. She helped me challenge my negative beliefs and assumptions that I had been carrying around all my life. There is an ease at which Katie approaches her time with you. She is extremely present, truly listening not only to what your words are saying but also how they're being said. She is insightful and can pick up on tiny nuances that might be blind to others. This insightfulness pairs with her innate ability to feel, empathize, and hear what her clients are saying. The trained, interpersonal knowledge she brings to each session seems only to elevate her natural understanding of the mind and spirit. Katie is a blessing and has been a staple in my personal and professional growth over the years; it was her gentle nudge and vote of confidence that finally motivated me to start my own business more than three years ago, and it has been her encouragement and calming presence throughout that have allowed me to visualize past mental blocks and life challenges. Prior to participating in Katie's leadership coaching, I had challenges with work/life balance, communication conflict with team members, boundary setting, and building trust within the organization. Receiving training or building skill sets for those types of challenges isn't something that most companies make time for or budget for. I was used to receiving collections training, ERP systems training, and accounting related trainings. After being informed that i would need to participate in Katie's leadership coaching, i was skeptical at first. Getting through my challenges was something that i always thought i had to "deal" with throughout my career. I'll admit, I went into my coaching sessions a little guarded and closed off. I just did not know what to expect. After each session, there were always takeaways that rang true in my work experience and life experience. Slowly i started to implement some of the strategies and lessons i learned from my coaching sessions. I even started having the same type of coaching sessions with some of my own team members. I still am engaging with Katie as my leadership coach and I am happy to report I've been able to claim back my work/life balance. I've been able to set boundaries, set agreements, and build effective communication and trust. My advice for anyone looking to engage with Katie is to go in with an open mind! It will only work if you're honest, transparent, and fully present in the sessions. You need to be open to receive her feedback. She will hold you accountable and provide honest and effective feedback.
