I am a real estate investor in Bend Oregon. I hired Chris Munson on several projects. My work was always completed accurately and on time. In 2014 I entered into a project with many variables. It involved changing the general use and zoning of my property. In conjunction with the zone change Chris also had to partition my .43 acre lot into 3 parcels. Chris devised a plan including every necessary component and filed with the city of Bend's planning division. I did appear at the first of several committee meetings required, but after hearing the proposal presented & the feedback/response of the committee members I was so confident in Chris that I did not attend any meetings that followed. I left all of the procedures to him completely. The project was being attempted directly ,and literally in the middle of the Reed Market Corridors bond project. Just to make the project fly was difficult enough. It was quite a challenge as the timelines did not allow for any mistakes. Chris has more land use and zoning application knowledge than most of the professionals in the development industry, including my own real estate attorney. I expect good service ,but Chris went way beyond that. He coordinated the installation of all my utilities. He worked with the big companies to get my services in. His existing contacts were very helpful,but he also formed new relationships with the head managers of these multi- million dollar projects, making my needs known ,and even a priority on many occasions. To help orchestrate the installation of several systems on 3 lots during the middle of the land use & zone change, and this huge project was enough but he negotiated for me with these companies saving me tens of thousands of dollars! This was way beyond the usual scope of any engineer. He was daily checking on every phase of my project as if it were his own,even after the projects completion. Hes taken a good investment for me and made it even more valuable. I highly recommend him.!!! I believe there is absolutely nothing he cant do. I am using him for the development of all of my future projects including a 21 unit apartment complex. His tenacity,confidence and integrity is at the highest level. His results and especially his relationships with the planning department will give any customer the very best chance for a successful outcome. As a 29 year Bend local from very stringent building environments of Lake Tahoe, I can tell you that this is a vital component. Combining his personality with professionalism he is definitely the locals choice.
