Horrible communication and apparent lack of care from being too busy. You will also likely not talk to a vet directly, only a tech from the 'care team' who may or may not know anything about your pet's case. I brought in my 18 month old dog who had stopped eating, had vomiting and diarrhea. I wanted advice on what to do. The front desk staff just kept saying "whatever you're comfortable with". What does that mean?? I wanted to know whether or not she should be hospitalized, I couldn't even get simple advice. My dog was at the hospital about 12 hours, I only got a few texts with basic updates, only after I called and asked for updates. The way this place is structured is that you'll only deal with a tech, maybe see a vet for like 2 minutes. Upon discharge, the 'care team' that cared for my pup had gone home, and the new team had no information about my dog, only what was on a chart, which they just read to me and handed me a copy and pushed me out the door. I had overheard them earlier on the phone with someone saying they were almost at capacity, but they seem way understaffed, so I felt like they just pushed us out the door to make room for others. We got home, had to go back 2 hours later because new symptoms appeared. The facility looks nice, but I don't know if their staff shifts don't talk to each other, or if they're understaffed or what the deal is, but the care was very sub-par and the communication was abhorrent.

have been coming here over the past year for my dogs IVDD issues. Theyve been amazing and great about at least taking him in to be triaged and giving him pain meds so hes comfortable waiting. All of the vets have been amazing and kind and very reassuring. You can tell theres a great culture here, and I appreciate them so much. Never fun to go to the emergency vet but its a lot better knowing your fur child is in good hands.

My dog had a sudden and severe allergic reaction to something unknown. I brought her to Tanasbourne Emergency, and they saw her promptly and gave her the best care. Every person we interacted with, From the front office staff to the back staff who helped our pup, was friendly, supportive, communicative, and professional. My experience was seamless and I never felt put on the back burner. They were attentive to my needs as well as my pups needs. I highly recommend Tanasbourne Emergency!

Just moved and after a few days my cat was sick, throwing up and could not pass stool but some blood. I called over a dozen vet clinics and none would see her due to lack of staff, not seeing new patients, no walk ins, no appointments for over a month or did not think she was critical enough. After trying to see if I could coax her to pass whatever was causing her issues, I gave up and finally got an appointment with Vetco/Petco, they said take her to Tanasbourne Veterinary Hospital as most likely they would refer her to them if she had a blocked intestine. So kudos to Vetco for saving me time and money. TVH got us in right away. They were nice, professional and caring. It was very clean. They did not charge any more than what other vet clinics quoted me for office visit or x-rays and less than some other reg. vet clinics. They found the blockage (she ate some insulation that somehow got missed when contractors blew insulation into my attic. The dr. did full exam and triage and suggested how to get her moving since it was in her colon now. In and out in less than 2 hours. Thank You, one for peace of mind as I thought I'd have to put her down and two for being conservative and not pushing me towards other more drastic/expensive treatments!
