PCC Rock Creek sold more parking passes than its parking lot could handle. Some students had to park across the street from the campus as there was no other option. The street being used by students is in a neighborhood and one of the spaces in front of a house being used often has a yellow fire hydrant 10.5 feet in from the sidewalk by a tree. The walk is not painted red or yellow. I received a ticket for parking here one day after classes despite being only one of many students parking in this space for weeks.
I looked up the number of the citation I received and it had only two conditions; That you cant be parked along a painted line, and you cant be parked within 10 feet of a fire hydrant. Neither of those applied to me. I went back and measured the distance. I appealed this and bought it up to the judge at this building with the officer present and the judge dismissed my legally accurate case as "creative".
Even at the smallest levels of legal proceedings, corruption and lawlessness will take place just to help an officer save face for his mistakes and to keep ripping off the peasants.
Judges in this county like Ridenour also withhold conflicts of interest like being affiliated with the HOA you're suing for illegal towing activities violating SB117. They will even disregard laws which are new like SB117 because they're too lazy to educate themselves upon learning of a new law that went under their radar and too corrupt to care.

I made a visit to the Washington County Sheriff's Office - East Precinct at 3700 SW Murray Blvd in Beaverton to have fingerprints made as part of a license application.
The office is very easy to get to. It is on SW Murray Boulevard just North of SW TV Highway. There is plenty of parking.
Everyone there is extremely friendly and helpful. The whole process was extremely smooth and easy.
