Sunshine Montessori Preschool

Amazing school. I worked there for almost a year and the owners are the kindest and sweetest people ever. Always had a smile on their faces and welcoming. The entire work environment is professional. The Montessori program they have there is extremely beneficial for children. The owners and teachers are very knowledgeable in the Montessori method. The classrooms always have 2 teachers to less than ten kids. I loved the teacher kids ratio. Amazing school to work at and/or send your kids. Teachers ensure children are loved and taken care of and SAFE Children that attend Sunshine are more than ready for kindergarten. Many of them know how to read already.

We left the school after 5 months. In my opinion, it is overpriced for the quality of care, meals provided and hours of operation. I felt they never really cared to get to know or care for my son or assess how he learns best. I didnt have a great experience with main teacher and MGMT. They called me with complaints about himlike one day he wouldnt eat the macaroni and cheese. He was 3 at the time. Im not sure why he changed his mind about liking Mac and cheese but didnt think it warranted a call at work. The communication was not great, no daily report or monthly newsletter letting me know whats going on or what they were working on. Seemed they would try to send him home any chance they got. Eczema really? I had to pick him up immediately and leave work and get a doc note to bring him back saying it was dry skin and not ring worm as was their worry. The Urgent Care Pediatrician thought it was crazy. I am a nurse and tried to explain it was eczema which he had his whole life and then they immediately lost the tube of cream I brought and medication application form. We changed schools and he thrived after that. I truly feel his new school embraced my child for who he is & cares beyond measure.

My daughter went to the Sunshine Montessori and we loved the experience. They provided a safe environment for my daughter and an outstanding quality of education. I was impressed to see how quickly my daughter learned things in comparison with the previous day cares we used. The time studying at Montessori helped my daughter with a great foundation to start the first grade at a higher level. I highly recommend the Sunshine Montessori to all my friends with kids.

Absolutely loved this preschool for our daughter. The teachers are caring, and our daughter thrived in the 18 months she attended Sunshine. Highly recommend!

Our son attended Sunshine Montessori for 3 years and I cant say enough positive things about this school. We started here during covid and stayed until our son started kindergarten recently. There is very little turnover, the school is clean, the teachers are fabulous and the owners are wonderful too. We feel that our son entered kindergarten with an advantage (his teachers have told us he is so smart!) and we credit this to Sunshine. It was wonderful having a safe place to drop off our son throughout the pandemic while we adjusted to working from home. We wish our son could have stayed! We miss Ms. Naomi who was his teacher. Thank you Sunshine Montessori for giving our son a great head start, we are forever grateful.
