He is a very thoughtful and patient doctor, who took his time to help me identify the many problems I was having, which are symptoms of multiple disorders and conditions. One by one, he was able to cross out many of the disorders and conditions, by doing excellent tests, and not stopping when he kept coming up empty handed. Finally, he realized it might be beyond his scope, and suggested I see a Neurologist. He was able to get me in immediately, as he was in many cases when there was a three month or more back-log, it was much appreciated, not having to wait and be stressed out. The Neurologist came up with neurological disorder, which in hindsight, makes tremendous sense. While the good news was it was not Parkinsons disease, it was Parkinson like. While Dr. Carlson does not treat me for this, my family doctor has been doing so. But I would not have known, had Dr. Carlson spent so much time trying to find the cause. BTW, he is great with steroid shots for ostheoarthritic joints!
