Dr. Joshua Kim is amazing. Before I moved to this area, I had the same dentist since I was a child. When I moved my old dentist told me to find a dentist that wasn't going to give you a filling just because. When I met Dr. Kim, he was very professional, took photos of my teeth and without being prompted said, " we will wait until your next visit to see what needs to be done, I don't want to give people filling just because." I have been back there regularly for my 6 month visits, and have got to know him more and more. IF you want to go to a place that feels like family, go to Hazelnut Dental and work with Dr. Joshua Kim.

Dr. Kim is a great guy, but they tried to SCAM me & my parents!! Went in & had some cleanings done & some fills a little over 1yr ago & we decided to find somewhere closer to Salem. Went to a new orthodontist to start Invisalign & they said i didnt have any ortho credit because it had already been used which we knew was not true. Come to find out, Hazelnut charged us for ortho work, me & my mom ($3000 total!!!). This is on top of having them having us pay $1000+ out of pocket already! My mom had a difficult time getting into contact with them to figure out what happened. For some reason, they did not want to speak with her (probably because they know what they did was WRONG). She went through insurance directly to see what she needed to do which was to have Hazelnut send the money back to the insurance company which the they STILL havent received the full amount back yet. We didnt know this until a whole year later & ONLY because I went to get my ortho work started. They wanted it kept under the rug. No telling how many others theyve done this to & were successful with it!! Be careful, youve been warned. P.S: Hazelnut, no need to email us again saying you do not like my review. Truth hurts sometimes! Dont try to scam people & maybe i wouldnt need to leave this review. Your response to my review is appreciated I guess; however, my position on this situation stands. Dr. Kim is wonderful he always takes his time and explains everything. Wonderful dental experience
