        While this looks like a great place to observe birds, it seems misnamed. This is more a pullout on the side of the road than an actual sanctuary. There are no trails, pathways, or other ways to interact with the location other than from a wooden viewing stand. No protection from rain or wind is available for bad weather days. And no bench for sitting and enjoying the scenery. We will stop again on our way to and from Astoria but would not make a trip just to come here.
