Management saw customers getting a good deal on their deli Tacos so they started charging $11.99/lb per topping, and reduced the amount of meat per taco (went from a scoop-full to a pinch with tongs). The same decent taco I used to stop in for went from $2.49 to $5. Clearly this store cares more about profits than a customer base. Would give 2 stars for other products but youre paying more for the same brands you get elsewhere there too. Shame.

Thanks you. The taco prices and quantities of meat have not changed. They are still $2.49 for the taco that comes with a corn tortilla, meat, salsa or hot sauce, pickled onions and cilantro, no substitutions or additions.Our ala carte option for anything at the burrito bar is $11.99/lb., so a shopper can get additional ingredients on their taco at that price if they so choose. https://astoria.coop/news/burrito-bar/
