Alchemy Restaurant and Bar

Nice place, but I was disappointed with my ribeye steak. It was over-salted to the point I had to return it to the kitchen (first time in my life I do this). It's sad because the rest of the food was great. The service was awesome and the place was nice. But I can't give them more than 3 stars after such a mistake in a restaurant charging $100 per person.

Alchemy is an essential encounter for one's taste buds! An absolutely lovely converted Victorian with a distinguished ambiance and atmosphere. The staff were attentive, informed, and kind. Drinks: An Old Fashion prepared to absolute perfection, and the Pinot Noir... subtle and sophisticated layers of tobacco, espresso, cloves, and dark chocolate. Yum! Starters: ARTISAN LOCAL BREAD kalamata olive loaf | seeded loaf | baguette | sourdough | trio of house-made butters The kalamata olive loaf was the most impressive. The bone marrow infused butter was epic! Main: DRY-AGED RIBEYE STEAK bone marrow butter | Rogue Valley growers market vegetables | truffle red wine jus The ribeye was equisitly prepared and seasoned, and served with an equally well flavored bowl of petite brussel sprouts. Mouth watering is an understatement. Dessert: Blueberry Panna Cotta. A delicious, fluffy, cat/bunny shaped panna cotta served with a superbly balanced blueberry sauce, fresh blueberries, raspberries, and airy white chocolate bits. If you are ever in Ashland, you must experience Alchemy! *****

Absolutely fantastic!! Went here for my birthday dinner and everything from the food to the waiter to the atmosphere was just amazing! Hubs and I will be coming back often! P.s. try the scallops they were mouthwatering
