Stratford Inn

Our room was a bit dated, but the pool was a hit for the kids and the breakfast was great. We had a number of issues (pancake flat pillows, broken heating unit, extremely loud upstairs neighbors) but staff was really kind and addressed the issues the best they could. They moved us to an upstairs room on our 4th night so we could get some sleep before our 11 hour trek home which was appreciated. I didn't know that Expedia didn't include a $35/night pet fee in our rate so we ended up paying a total of $175/night. That would be alright for a night if we were just passing through, but for an extended stay at that rate I'd just go with an Airbnb so I could get some rest.

Excellent staff and service. Pets welcomed. Potty area for them. Free continental breakfast. Free Wi-Fi. Cable TV. Heated indoor pool. Rooms: Very clean rooms. Safety: Well lit parking lot.

The hotel in Ashland exuded a delightful atmosphere that I thoroughly enjoyed. The staff were exceptional, and the rooms were kept clean, creating a pleasant overall vibe. I would definitely consider returning. However, the hot tub seemed to be in need of better maintenance, and the rooms felt outdated. Despite these minor issues, my experience was generally positive.

It's the little touches that make this place an A+ Real glasses & coffee cups, in room tea/coffee/fridge, stationary, postcards, pens, in room information book, nice sundries, spotlessly clean, comfy beds & nice linens plenty of pillows. Great check in. Pool & spa look nice. Parking lot well lit. Place seems quiet even tho it's on the main drag, the rooms don't face it. There's a Safeway right next door.
