I had insurance and a claim on my previous phone that's was paid off. Idk know why they need the receipt for the new phone that I bought for me to get a check on another phone. A car insurance place wouldn't want proof of another car you purchased to get paid for the previous totalled car. Worst customer service I've ever had to deal with, had to call 6 times in a month for bad information until a supervisor told me I need to send them the receipt of my new phone.

Garbage company, tried to massively underpay insurance claim. Claimed in error that i should owe another $5,000 but backtracked when shown it was their error. Took several months to assess damages, drawing things out hoping youll cave and pay more than you should.
Their lack of accuracy and professionalism may cost you thousands and thousands of dollars, be careful.
Absolutely awful service. Agent would completely ignore requests to call or email back. Did not call back until threatened to report to state insurance board.
Avoid using this company at all costs. Find an insurance company that actually cares and doesnt try to scam you out of every dollar they possibly can.

Edit: the situation was resolved. Never have I had to work so hard to get a company to do right by their customer. Do yourself (as a consumer) a favor and do the math, does your phone really need to be insured? I'll give them 2 stars because they sent a replacement phone quickly, but I will never use this company again and whoever their VP of customer service is should be fired.
The worst customer service I have ever received. I was never, at any point when filling a claim told that I was to return the damaged phone, I threw it out because it was a hazard. You never requested it whole I was making the claim, sent an email saying to return it, never sent a return request or information for a return. Nothing. Now they want to charge me, according to the overseas call center individuals that read the script provided. I can't get through to an actual human who can do anything. The situation is ridiculous. How do you NOT tell someone they need to return an item to you, then wait 2 weeks (and thanks for the Christmas day email, really nice) and then tell them that they need to pay you for that item, that don't know how much, but this is your policy? I don't work there, how would I know your policies? I do personally have over 30 years in customer service and I can tell you that you are 100% failing at it. This situation is still ongoing so perhaps you'd like to reach out to me and make it right. And I swear to God if you tell me to call your toll free number I'm going to picket your offices. Do better.

I bought gap insurance from Lithia Toyota when they used to use assurant. Assurant is the worse insurance company that ive ever dealt with. Do Not use these thieves. On the date of my accident i owed about $26,600. State Farm paid $23,400 to my lender. The gap payment from Assurant should've been $3,200, but instead they sent a check for $781.87 without even a breakdown of how they came up with that figure. I've yet to be able to talk to a person. All of the paperwork had to be uploaded on their website. I was never given a name or adjuster contact information. My emails so far haven't been responded to. Stay as far away from this company as possible.

By far the worst insurance company . Had all my tools I work with stolen over 10 grand in tools. For personal work on my stuff. They asked if I worked with them. I said yes they replied well sorry sir you should have workers insurance . Lol thieves been taking my money for 5 years and my first claim. Trash . Find someone else
