I really wish I didn't have to write this, but I feel like others should know what they're signing up for. I went to Kayla for 6 months in preparation for a wedding I was in. While her work is mostly good, my first ever appointment, she was 30 mins late. My second, 1 hour late. My third, 45 mins late and a massive oversight left me with my blonde extensions now green. Was there until 11pm fixing my hair that day. My next appointment was rescheduled while I was waiting in the parking lot. The next, 45 mins late and 4 hours longer than normal because another client came in. Basically, I kid you not, she was on time once. My hair is fried and so is my patience. For the money I spent, the massive amount of time wasted.. I really tried to give her every chance but im writing this after she no showed me, rescheduled me, then no showed again literally within 4 days, not to mention finding out some major things she let fall through the cracks with my very high maintenance and expensive hair. If you value your time, hair, money, and expect to receive complete services when you schedule them, Kayla is not the stylist for you. She's a very nice girl who obviously loves doing hair, but she isn't in a place in her life where her job as a stylist and her dedication to her salon are a priority. Have spoken to a few prior clients of hers over the months since going to her and all have similar or worse experiences to mine. Save your sanity, hair, and time. Find someone who will put you first and show up for you, and give you exactly what you want. I did.
