Ive lived in vinita almost a year. Several times since Ive lived here, Ive tried to schedule an appointment for one of my 4 kids, myself or my husband and always, without fail the provider is never there. Whats the point of a rural town having an urgent care if there is never anyone to see patients? I know staffing shortages are across the board in health care, seeing as I just left healthcare after 5 years of doing it. But I never had to just cancel appointments for the entire day because I didnt have a provider. Its unacceptable in any setting, but especially in rural communities. Do better Integris.

The nurse practitioner is awesome! the very young blonde nurse is not they have posters everywhere that says are your healthcare workers washing their hands or using hand sanitizer and she did neither and I asked her to wash her hands and she said she used hand sanitizer outside the door and they have too many patients to wash their hands.. I told her that was no excuse.
