Spirit Halloween

They definitely have all the coolest Halloween stuff here and you can find just about any costume but that doesn't come without a few downfalls. Many of their items are grossly overpriced. I found a mouse skeleton $7 or $8 that was identical to the one I bought at Dollar Tree for $1.25. Items that I was able to find elsewhere were marked up far beyond the prices at those places. That said, the selection is outstanding and if you can't find it somewhere else you can usually find it here, you're just going to pay more for it. I also was disappointed to go to their after Halloween sale and find items that their website told me were out of stock prior to Halloween. I was looking for something specific and when their website told me they didn't have any at all I ordered off Ebay. The day after Halloween they had over 20 of that item when I was in the store. Also, they need to revise their return policy if something is broken. We bought a light up mouthpiece for my daughter and out of the package it did not work. When we tried to return it the day after Halloween they refused and said no returns. I get that this is a seasonal store and they can't take Halloween costumes and such back after Halloween, but when something flat out doesn't work that should be a different story. They stopped returns 7 days prior to Halloween, but that should not include defective items. We obviously weren't going to try out a mouthpiece 7 days before Halloween to find out it doesn't work. The employees are very nice and customer service was great, they just need to lower their prices a bit and also realize that if something is broken that is not the same as returning it for a refund after using it for one night.

Cheaply made costumes for a high price. But that's what you expect from a store.
