I came in for what I thought was going to be a simple men's haircut. Three on the sides and just scissor cut the top. It's been several months since I last got a haircut and I had quite a bit of hair on my head. I definitely felt much more comfortable wearing a beanie then showing the mop on my head. I did ask for a three to a four on the sides and she asked if she could fade it down to it 2 on bottom and I thought that sounded okay. It didn't realize that that meant the rest of the haircut was possibly going to be much shorter than I had anticipated or asked for. My sides look fine at the length they're cut but I feel like I have literally 1 inch of hair on the top of my head and I hate it. Beyond too short. I have no idea why my hair got cut so short on the top. Unfortunately I'm going to continue to wear a beanie even though I just got a fresh new cut. I really don't want to show it off. Embarrassed to not have a hat on, it's just way too short on top. I know it's just her and it will grow back but I'm definitely going to be returning to my normal stylus somewhere else. She always asked me if I like more off. She says you can always take more off but I can't put it back. I appreciate that and unfortunately my experience at this location was less than great.
