My review is not just as a patient but also as a highly educated anesthesia provider in the local Tulsa area. Dr. David has had 3 opportunities to treat me that he totally struck out on over the course of the last 5 years. 1. I came in with complaints of insomnia. Told me to develop better sleep hygiene. No labs. Just basic exam and vitals. Ok but missed the other symptoms such as fatigue and anxiety listed that eventually turned into another diagnosis listed in a minute. 2. I wanted Dr. Sholl to take over prescribing my Zoloft for post partum depression because my OBGYN was more difficult to see for that one little thing. This visit he also ignored my complaints of insomnia, temperature intolerance, and excessive hair loss. I eventually was diagnosed by another provider with a hypothyroid which is now treated and symptoms are controlled so feeling much better. 3. He was still my PCP on record when I tested positive with symptomatic covid 2 weeks ago after treating these patients all year so I called for him to call me in a basic steroid script. His nurse called me back and informed me that Dr. David Sholl does not believe that any medications besides vitamins work in treating symptoms of covid. If you get SOB, go to urgent care instead Ok, I mean then why even be a physician then? So my boss called me in some basic supportive meds for covid and I was feeling much better after a few days of decadron and hydroxychloroquine in addition to all the vitamins Ive been taking since March. This guy doesnt need to be seeing patients at all if they are not going to get any care. Im officially looking elsewhere for a primary care physician that actually wants to help people with their health problems.
