We have had nothing but a positive Experience with this office.. Office staff is very nice and helpful.. Dr hasbrook has been wonderful with helping my mom with her glaucoma! She also has seen a couple of the other doctors in this office If Dr. Hasbrook was away . Sometimes you have to wait a little while, but for a good Doctor sometimes that has to be..

Hour wait to get to the eye exam- 40 minute wait on the bench after the eye exam!!! I was 15 minutes early for the appointment. After waiting 30 minutes on the bench (waited 10 minutes longer after requesting the water)in the hall I asked that they bring water to the ones that have been sitting there for over a hour and she DID NOT bring water. The reception area is terrible!! The drs are great! Im not giving them a 1 star as far as the drs go, they are all a 5. But the wait is terrible. I feel sorry for the older people that go there and have to sit and sit without being asked if they need water or anything.

I have been wearing glasses for 65 years. In all of that time I have never waited 2 hours to be led to an exam room to wait again. In Sept 2023, My appointment was at 2:30 and I left at 5:00. I have to go back for a follow up for an infection. After that I will not go back

Fortunately, I've had the privilege of meeting numerous humble and highly competent doctors who don't feel the need to boast about their abilities. However, Dr. Sangal was different. Her air of superiority and condescending attitude towards individuals with special needs was evident from the start. She treated my daughter as though she was an inconvenience and took her away from more deserving patients. After rushing into the room, she took no time to say anything to me, or even address my daughter, and immediately said who sent you here? As I told her she replied, never heard of him, Im from Chicago. She glanced at my daughter, walked over and briefly shined a light in her eyes. Then saying oh good at least we know she can see. She looked to her assistant and said dilate her and walked out. We sat there waiting, which I dont mind at all. Ive sat most my daughters life in doctors offices. I sat in the room waiting there talking with my nonverbal daughter explaining maybe Sangal would come back in and she would be different. As Sangal came in the door, she glanced at my daughter, and then began to ask about treatments. I repeated what doctors have told me through the years. Then Sangal began to be condescending to me about the treatments that my daughter has had. She snickered as she typed on the computer. So I asked her what, and why are you looking at me like that? She scuffed and went back to her computer working. Shaking her head at me, I couldnt figure out what her problem was. So arrogant and full of herself. She then walked over to my daughter and spent a total of maybe a minute to a minute and a half looking into her eyes. Then blamed my daughter who has significant special needs that she couldnt see well enough because she wouldnt obey commands. I said well she takes a little time, she just had her eyes dilated. Then Sangal crossed her arms and said so the best practice would be to put her under sedation with a tube down her throat so she can actually see and not have to have my daughter try to obey orders and she can bypass that part and actually do her job. I stopped her there! I said hold on, I have a question? Do you have a doctor in this practice that specializes in patients with special need? Finally she seemed a little bit human and said we have someone in shock, then went back into her pride saying. But shes just gonna do the same thing I would do shes not gonna take more time with your daughter. Once again I said, is there a different doctor that I can see? She refused and acted like I wasnt asking the question. Sangal said she can see me in four weeks. I said well, I believe we are absolutely done here. Smiled, and I immediately canceled that appointment and will never go back. I would NEVER trust her with my daughter especially going under. Dr. Sangal you need to learn life lessons, theres more to life then telling people you are the best. Learn to be a human being with empathy. If in your education they didnt teach you this. We all bleed, we all breathe, we all have purpose, its why were alive.
