    We used Banks for our wedding this past October. Up to the wedding day, I would have fully recommended them. However, I dont want other brides to fall for the reviews that are good like I did. From one bride to another, DONT use this company. We gave them a playlist for the reception, and none of our music was played. For cocktail hour, they did follow our music, but they didnt mix the songs up like they said they would (when I wrote the songs down, I didnt shuffle them) so multiple songs by the same artist played back to back. When the dancing part started, none of the music was correct. My coordinator told the DJ multiple times that the music was wrong, but they blamed not having the right music on the wifi connection. I cant wrap my head around why the music wasnt downloaded. They even played songs that we specifically told them NOT to play. The planning sheet even has sections for genres that we wanted and didnt want, and the music didnt even follow this. At the very least, if the wifi was the problem, they should have tried to play music that was similar to our preferences. Over 4 hours of music, full of songs that meant a lot to my husband and I, was not used. It felt like the DJ was unprepared despite two meetings beforehand. The DJ that showed up wasnt even the one who I worked through the schedule with. I have been trying for almost 4 weeks to get in contact with them about this situation. I was told twice that the owner would contact me, and I havent heard a word. Theyve even ghosted my emails now. PLEASE, from one bride to another, dont put yourself through this! I truly feel like my reception was ruined because of this, and I dont want other brides doing through this!

    We had a wonderful experience for our wedding on 10/01/2023! The guys were right on time, there were perfect transitions for every song, and volume was great. We had a transition at 8 pm to a more party vibe and they did great with that. They were super cool and made sure to follow the do not play list we came up with beforehand!

    We had an awesome experience with our dj, Logan. There were some hiccups prior to us finding him with communication with the company. I think I spoke to 3 different Djs about our wedding and I had no clue who was actually doing it. That was a little stressful, but all in all the end result was great. Again, Logan is the man he did excellent and handled our event like a champ!!

    We received services for a DJ and photobooth for our wedding on 10/6/2023 Please note I have emailed the company to try and resolve this with absolutely no response at this time. Which that itself is starting to speak volumes on this company. The DJ Didnt know the order of the events and kept asking bride and groom which was pulling us away from our guests and photos and food in the middle of dinner When I looked at the schedule he had it was the old version of our order of events and wasnt properly done. I had to email in order to get our last meeting scheduled and Im pretty sure it was a completely different person than we had talked to the first time. Kept changing songs abruptly in the middle of the song causing confusion and a lack of flow during dinner and reception Didnt use our playlist so we had no meaningful songs played other than our first dance even though they were given a 7 hour long playlist we had created on Spotify to use during dinner and reception They werent announcing the things happening so my maid of honor had to tell everyone to go eat and I had to go around and tell everyone to go get desert which caused the bridal party and family to barely be able to eat. Eventually my photographer and I took over making events actually happen and getting ready for them. Up lighting was multicolored not a warm white like discussed Overhead lights were on practically all night which made the setting not very welcoming and felt like I was holding a reception in a cafeteria not a beautiful event space Messed up my mother daughter dance song which was just embarrassing and disheartening because it was the one dance I got with my mom where we had to stop and wait for them to get it figured out. He didnt apologize or explain what was happening. He just said Lets get them out here and try that again he wasnt even aware that was the wrong song the groom had to cut him off and tell him that wasnt the song. Started procession song too soon so it felt rushed and like I had no time to be prepared for my entrance We also did not get our last song of the night for the evening to close the wedding out. On top of these things the photobooth Im pretty sure didnt upload all of our photos and the quality is awful so theyre grainy and not the quality you have advertised at all. Overall my experience with banks entertainment was very disappointing and it was one of those things we were very excited to have for our wedding to lessen the stress and have someone else take care of big moments that were ultimately ours to handle anyways considering all of the above. Im sure there are other things that I havent even listed above that made the night unforgettable in a way that was not at all how I wanted it to be. For the amount we paid banks entertainment to make our wedding as stress free and seamless as possible it was definitely was not that.
