Hardware store is closed. It seems that they are not open to the public and now only sell to builders. Friendly staff

Ghost town. I had seen an Apex lumber truck on the highway with some particular lumber I was interested in purchasing. That day I tried to look up and call the google listed number to see if they had it in stock and if I could purchase some. They never answered at 2:30-3:00 on a Thursday. Fast forward a week or 2 I decided to drive out there Office in front of lumber yard basically has some 8x11 printed pages that say Employees only and No cash sales I went ahead while I was sitting in their parking lot, and tried to call again to get the scoop of how I might be able to become a customer or make an order Once again no answer @ 1:20 On a Monday. I wouldve been fine if I had reached somebody on the first phone call and they just said we only develop relationships with contractors and if youre not a contractor, we dont want your business. That wouldve saved me a 30 minute trip and a waste of time. By not even inviting any potential customer into an office of any sort at the front of what appears to be, and used to be 84 lumber, I dont see how you can develop relationships.

Starting out we had trouble getting anyone to call back. We should have taken that red flag. We originally ordered exterior doors through them and trying to get them ordered and paid for was a several-day process because they would keep saying were working on the quote and will get back to you. I'm convinced the only reason we even got them ordered now is because my wife would follow up with them daily trying to get them ordered and paid for. Same process with the lumber package. We received the lumber package for our build it was shorted a little on some items and over some including LVL boards. This wasn't that big of a deal as I'm sure it happens a lot with any lumber company. I personally went to pick up our second needed order but they were out of stock on a few items needed but I was charged anyways. I went to mill creek and they had what we needed in stock. I have now been trying for over two weeks to get a credit for the lumber we never received and for the 2 LVL boards that were over. You can almost never get them to answer the phone and if you do they are rude. Customer service doesn't exist here. We paid for both orders with a card yet we can't get a credit. Jerry was the only one who would answer and was able to get us the lumber packages together. Unfortunately, it would appear he has no support. Looking back I would not have worked with this company but we took a recommendation. I would not recommend them to anyone based on the customer service or lack thereof. Still waiting on Credits and hoping that we actually have doors on order...
