Spent a year here with 3 different therapists because they cant seem to keep them employed here. 30 minute sessions which is hardly any time for meaningful rapport or skills to be taught. They have a major issue with counter transference, if you do not agree with a therapist they will kick you out of the session. Pretty unethical agency overall. Will be submitting a complaint with the Oklahoma health authorities. The administration is a joke, they will tell you they will call you back never do.

*STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND* After 9 months of waiting for care, all I have been met with is argumentative doctors, other medical staff and receptionists whom are extremely unprofessional, and a few whom are very aggressive... Not the environment anyone with mental health issues should be in, EVER. The doctors there do not believe in ADHD. They claim that ADHD is not a real thing, it is just bipolar disorder. They have been the most unhelpful healthcare establishment I have ever been to. They never have enough staff, appointments get canceled almost every time and have to be rescheduled for things like not having enough staff or employee appreciation day when they dont even have enough staff to see the patients. This whole experience has been a complete nightmare, and my mental health is much worse than before it was when I started at Echota Behavioral Health. Another employee there, (Jennifer, who has also berated me online) accused me of calling another health care establishment that one of the doctors is affiliated with, which I DID NOT do. She even admitted she just heard it was something that she had heard, but my name was nowhere brought up in it. She just randomly accused me. They lied to me about how they would further my treatment plan, and purposefully cancelled my appointment at the last minute for a medication refill- and they thought it was laughable. EXTREMELY unprofessional people. There is absolutely no respect for the patients, theyre too busy snickering and talking about other patients, etc. I went to 7 therapy appointments, but never learned any further coping skills, or anything. They prefer to talk about themselves and other patients rather than the person there to receive services. I have reported them and will continue to follow through with the UKB to ensure these people lose their jobs.

I have tried to see a counselor here for over a year now. I was placed on a year long waiting list and went through their intake process about two months ago. I was told that I would receive a call back in two weeks to set up an appointment but that hasnt happened. When I called to check up on when I would be receiving a call I was told that my counselor would get back with me but nothing, I was told that the head of counseling would get back with me and nothing. I was told that the counselor was getting his office set up and would call clients soon, then I was told that he was already seeing clients and would give me a call. Still nothing. I still havent seen anyone and still havent received a call. They didnt help my husband and his conditions have only worsened under their care. I wont be seeing them.
