So awesome I would recommend to anyone who is a vet or unemployed recently. Mr Gary was so helpful and the ladies working there were great! The VSO is very helpful and caring as well. Nice facility no wait time easy access. Thank you very much.

Sherrain is especially unhelpful. For a government office, there was an epic level of incompetence. I would actually suggest going to the Oklahoma City office. You may have to spend a day there, but those people can actually help you with your case. It is worth the wait. The frustration of dealing with the stillwater office is not a good opportunity cost at the point they do not seem to be able to offer any kind of remedy. If you need to validate your identification and want to do it in person, I would suggest a different location because this office could not even find the tax returns they requested that I brought in for them to copy! They finally found it, they said, after I called my mom to have it sent snail mail. I texted my mom back nevermind but I hope you get the idea. I have given this office several visits and all seemed relatively ineffectual, but painless until Sherrain became aware of my case. She was rude from day one. She can't wait to tell you that she can't help you, no matter what your complaint or request, and she apparently gets paid to not help us from our tax dollars. It's so infuriating when the unemployment process is not pleasant to begin with. Nobody likes to need help. When the government creates a situation from which the recovery is worse then the virus/disease/flu that shut us down in the first place then the last thing any arm of it should do is make it harder to survive. Harder to ask for help harder to get help harder to get relief harder to even ask ..... That is the theme of the stillwater office. I think they must get to keep whatever monies they find and keep you from getting. That's the only reason I can figure anyone working for the government would be hesitant to return any of our money to us that the federal government has made available to Americans. They must get a bonus in Stillwater for every claim they can keep from going through. Or maybe they are feeding the applications through and just taking the checks and the money they are supposed to be paying us....it seems like the governor caught on and now he's trying to do the same. I am pretty sure that the people who work in the Oklahoma City office do NOT get a bonus if they keep your claim from being filed successfully. That is the only way I can justify the difference in the attitude and the effectiveness and the helpfulness that the employees at the stillwater office will not provide. Otherwise, someone should probably be fired. Just ask them if you can be invited to the party they throw themselves, with our money! Or go somewhere else. Even Shawnee offices are very helpful compared to the stillwater office. I am not just speaking from one bad experience. Good luck.
